WHY MONTESSORI?

Our program is based on the work of female physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori who, through her research and studies, helped to change the course of education. Montessori recognizes that children learn in many ways and at their own pace. Montessori Education concentrates on the child’s experience, characterized by a focus on self-directed activity, where the teacher’s role is to encourage, observe and guide students. In Montessori education, the environment is adapted to the child and their development.
